Nataxja Cini, MSW, RSW, CCC

Nataxja Cini is a registered social worker. She addresses the needs of couples, adults, adolescents, and children. She is passionate about assisting couples and families reconnect with each other and creating strong long term bonds. Nataxja works with individuals to help them identify and overcome current challenges. She specializes in working with couples. Every individual and situation is unique. She is enthusiastic about encouraging you to realize your potential.    

Nataxja is a certified Emotional Focused Therapist and Collaborative Law mental health professional. The goal of EFT is to deepen and strengthen the emotional bond between individuals whether they are a couple or couples family members by creating emotional safety. I encourage you to express your vulnerable emotions in a safe environment so you can be heard and understood. Her orientation to counselling is psychodynamic and experiential. Nataxja taught psychology and provided student counselling services, at the Canadian National Institute of Health in Ottawa. She worked at the Royal Ottawa Hospital, Brockville Campus in their Dual Diagnosis Unit. Nataxja is currently accepting new clients. Arash Kameli, MA, CCC

Arash Kameli is a qualified therapist specializing in individual counselling. Arash is the membership coordinator for the Ottawa Employee Assistance Program Association. He is committed to helping you gain insight to make the changes that will enable you to promote your personal growth.  He enjoys working with individuals, to overcome and explore how anger negatively impacts their lives and relationships. Arash works with gay an non gay men and women regarding sexuality and other sexual issues. He works collaboratively with you to help you build on your own self-healing capacities, strengths, and abilities. He believes in exploring opportunities to view challenges from different perspectives to develop a wide range of solutions and possibilities for your personal situation.   

He has expertise in Emotion Focused process oriented therapy, Gestalt, Existential, and Short Term Solution Focused Therapy. He focuses on depression, anxiety, loss, grief, interpersonal skills, sexuality, work-related  issues, multi-cultural issues. He is passionate about working with young adults as they transition into adulthood and independence. I address your concerns with compassion and understanding. Karen McRae, BScN, MSW, RSW,

Karen is a registered social worker. She provides counseling services to children, youth, couples, and families.   She began her career as a nurse working at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto and then went on to obtain her Master's degree.   Karen has over twenty years of providing counselling to families and individuals in both hospital and community settings. Karen believes there is more than one therapeutic approach to working with each person.  Karen believes it takes personal strength and courage to seek to heal yourself. She has an affinity for working with people who have experienced trauma,whether through aggression by others or a Motor Vehicle Accident. Together with talk therapy Karen uses EMDR to help people recover from trauma. 

She has experience with cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness practices which can be effective when dealing with anxiety and depression.  Finding the right therapist to trust with your child or your own therapy is so important to developing a positive therapeutic relationship. I want to assist you in creating positive possibilities for yourself and your life. My goal is to help you uncover the roots of your distress and use you unique attributes and strengths to face and overcome your challenges.
